Data Privacy Consultant
We are looking for a decisive and committed Data Privacy Consultant. Your main focus is to support national and international organizations on their way to privacy compliance.
You will take on the role of Data Protection Officer (DPO) for one client and the role of Privacy Officer (PO) for another.
What will you do:
- You will work on (complex) privacy assignments for our clients;
- You provide high-quality advice to customers, solutions and recommendations on privacy problems and issues;
- You have a role in monitoring and advising on DPIAs, TIAs, LIAs and HRIAs (as DPO) or in conducting them as a PO;
- You organize and carry out awareness and training programs;
- You supervise fellow (junior) Data Privacy Consultants with their assignments;
- Networking and expanding the DPO Consultancy products portfolio is an important part of your job.
To assist you, we provide you with our own Privacy Management Activities Plan (PMA work plan). In the first month, you will be trained internally on how to work from this plan.
What’s in it for you
- Professional and personal development: 10% of your hours can be allocated for development. We have our own academy and a coach in-house.
- You work closely with colleagues on various data privacy tasks. The exchange of knowledge takes place on a daily basis.
- You have an active role in the organization. Your ideas and inputs will be highly appreciated!
- DPOC is a horizontal organization. We don’t work with ‘bosses’. Instead, we work with experienced consultants who guide employees in their performance and development.
- You have influence on which customers you work for and you will not be spending years always with the same customer.
- DPOC has a good working atmosphere. This translates into always having lunch together (we have our own kitchen island!), and various out of office activities (the Den Bosch Vestingloop, karaoke nights, padel tournaments, etc.)
- You will work for private organizations, and governmental bodies, where being (and remaining!) privacy compliant is complex, and you will perform very interesting assignments.
- Growth is possible, in fact, that is what we strive for. You can grow from medior to senior. There is also room for growth in internal responsibilities (i.e. you can take responsibility for a team or for a certain department such as ICT).
- We are doing product development, as we are currently developing new products for our own Academy. If you want, you can contribute to that.
